Reformation Day is an important festival that is celebrated by Christians of many Protestant denominations. It commemorates Martin Luther’s posting of his Ninety-five Theses on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, on October 31, 1517. This act, along with other men’s courage and deeds, initiated the movement in world history known as the Reformation.

This year our church fellowship gathered in celebration of John Knox, of Scotland.  Thus was the theme of the evening. from the Scottish food to the plaid table runner down the long table, and the costumes of many.  At the end of the evening we gathered at the fire pit to share what we had all study about John Knox.  We are blessed to regain this part of our Christian heritage that has been missing for way too long.
